Install Whalory Core in Codex

Steps checked against the tool’s documentation on September 28, 2026.

Before you start

  • Codex CLI or the Codex IDE extension
  • Optional: Python 3.8 or later, for the tools

Steps

  1. Step 1: Download whalory-core-3.2.0-skill.zip. The Core skill folder is inside.

    Download Core 1.2 MB

  2. Step 2: Unzip it so the file sits at ~/.agents/skills/whalory/SKILL.md, or at .agents/skills/whalory/ in a repository.

  3. Step 3: Call it with $whalory, or pick it from /skills.

  4. Step 4: To use the tools as well, add this table to ~/.codex/config.toml and set the path. On Windows, write whichever Python command runs on your machine.
