Install Whalory Core in Gemini CLI

Before you start

Gemini CLI
Optional: Python 3.8 or later, for the checking scripts

Steps

Step 1: Download whalory-core-3.2.0-skill.zip. The Core skill folder is inside.
Download Core 1.2 MB
Step 2: Unzip it into ~/.gemini/skills/ or ~/.agents/skills/ for your user, or into .gemini/skills/ or .agents/skills/ in a project.
Step 3: Start Gemini CLI and describe the task. When Gemini asks to activate the whalory skill, confirm.
Step 4: If you like, check that the scripts run. Use the folder’s full path, and on Windows type py -3 if python is missing.
python <path-to-whalory>/scripts/selftest.py

Check that it works

What you should see

Either one to three short questions arrive, each with a “(recommended)” option, or the caption arrives with a note that starts with “Diagnosis:”. Unknown facts stay in brackets. Reply “write” and it drafts without asking.
